Meeting: Gérard Cabon, “The talk of the Arsenal”.

Join us for a discussion with Gérard Cabon at the Antinoë bookstore on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Having entered the apprenticeship school in 1965, Gérard Cabon spent his entire career at the Brest arsenal. In the 2000s, he was deputy mayor of Brest, responsible for youth and sport.

During all these years, he continued to collect in his notebook expressions, anecdotes and stories of working-class and union life.

As a true memoirist, he proposes to speak to us this evening about this language which is both familiar and little studied.
