The coordination and effective implementation, at all levels, of climate change mitigation and adaptation policies are necessary to achieve this objective. ADEME — the Ecological Transition Agency — is firmly committed to the fight against global warming and is putting its expertise at the service of public policy and implementing a climate change adaptation strategy. It notably incorporates numerous elements of knowledge, preservation and acclimatization of ecosystems, as well as ecosystem approaches, known as \"\u003cspan class=\"fine\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003egreen\u003cspan class=\"fine\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\"Nature-based solutions exist and remain to be developed and, above all, to be generalized.  \u003cbr class=\"autobr\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe projects presented in this book bring together and synthesize the contributions capitalized on the subject in recent years. Mitigating global warming and adapting to these developments are two criteria to be integrated into urban designs, both at the territorial level, particularly through planning documents, and in urban projects and development operations.
