At the same time, archaeology offers additional keys to understanding the functioning of the\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003ecivitas\u003c\/em\u003e \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e. The accumulation of planimetric data allows for a new examination of the relationships between the agglomerations, the city capital of\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eVesontio\u003c\/em\u003e \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eand the large rural residences.
